KLS GIT students Participated in KSCST State Level Poster Presentation and Exhibition held
during 9 th -10 th August 2024 at Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi, Karnataka
M.Tech Project was shortlisted and showcased at the Karnataka State Council for Science
and Technology (KSCST) State Level Poster Presentation and Exhibition. The prestigious
event took place at Sharnbasva University, Kalaburagi.
Student projects reflect the innovation, research and technical knowledge in their domain.
KLS GIT encourages the students in innovative thinking, addressing the real world
challenges, societal problems, commitment in both academic growth, research and
development activities. KLS GIT participation in this state-level event boost the innovative
minds in carrying out research at next level and underscores the calibre of the students and
faculty.
“Impact of elevated temperatures on the strength properties and microstructure study of fibre
(Carbon and polypropylene) reinforced concrete”. This project was short listed for poster
presentation. Mr. Yogesh Desai, M.Tech Structural Engineering student presented the work.
The project was carried out under the guidance of Prof. Sachin R. Kulkarni.
