Art and Dance Club conducted, a one – day Hands-on workshop by Central village Pottery Institute Khanapur for Art and dance club students 80 students was participated in the workshop which was organized by the Department of architecture on 22nd December 2022.

• The workshop focused on exposing the students to Pottery-making techniques as a part of learning Pottery-making Art and hands-on workshop for the students.
• It helped the students to establish the relationship between art and architecture and gave them practical knowledge about the Pottery making techniques as they made various small pottery in the Architecture Department construction yard.
• The workshop focuses on the use of hand tools to create Clay making and molding, shaping techniques with electric pottery wheels as well as hands to develop various forms and shapes.
• The workshop demonstrated the various forms in pottery and various methods clay art.
• The workshop culminated in producing the various shapes using pottery techniques in our construction yard by the student’s work on hands-on lashing details.
• This workshop shall eventually help students establish the relationship between art and architecture in their Architectural Design studio projects.
