Ms. Aastha Patil and Ms. Chinmayi Hosamani from KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (Belagavi) had participated in Science Research Contest – 2024, organised by Marathi Vidnyan Parishad (Mumbai) on Feb 2, 2025. Title of the project submitted by them was ‘Numerical Analysis of the Effect of Natural Fibers on the Strength of Bonded Joints under Adhesive and Adherent Failure Modes’.

The project was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Lokamanya Chikmath. The said project stood as one of the three best projects, out of thirty-seven projects received for the contest.
