About IIRS-ISRO Outreach Programme
IIRS Outreach Programme focusses on strengthening the Academia and User Segments in Space
Technology & Its Applications using Online Learning Platforms. Under this programme the two mode
of content delivery system is developed using online learning platform (i.e) Live & Interactive mode
(known as EDUSAT) and e-Learning mode.
About the Nodal Centre
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi is an authorized Nodal Centre for conducting online
courses offered by the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), ISRO, Dehradun under its IIRS
Outreach Programme. The initiative aims to strengthen academia and user segments in the field of
Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, and GNSS technologies through online learning. Courses are open
for all students, faculties and research scholars of our institution. The participants who successfully
complete the course will be awarded a certificate from IIRS, ISRO.

Objective of the Programme:
The IIRS Outreach Programme is designed to:
Disseminate the knowledge and applications of Geospatial Technologies.
Offer free online courses and webinars for students, faculty, and professionals.
Enable wider participation from educational institutions across the country.

Participation, Attendence & Certification
Open to all students and faculty from any discipline.
Participants must register individually on the IIRS portal.
Participants with at least 70% attendance will be eligible to appear for the online
examination and will also receive a participation certificate.
Participants scoring a minimum of 50% in the online examination will receive a "Merit
Certificate" from ISRO.
E-certificates are issued by IIRS-ISRO upon fulfilling attendance and assessment criteria.

Belagavi) while doing registration, do not select "Individual registration" (For Individual
