It is with deep sorrow that we inform the sad demise of Dr. K. S. Vishwanath, Former Principal of GIT, on 21st August, 2025 at 7.30pm. In his passing, the institution has lost an eminent academician, administrator, and guide whose contributions will always be remembered.
Dr. K. S. Vishwanath was not only a visionary leader and distinguished academician but also a guiding force who touched countless lives through his wisdom, humility, and dedication. He served as the Principal of Gogte Institute of Technology from November 1982 to May 1995, during which time the institution flourished under his able leadership, firmly upholding the values of excellence and integrity.
His unwavering commitment to education, his compassion for students and staff, and his calm, inspiring presence will forever be remembered and cherished. The legacy he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of all those whose lives he enriched.
A Condolence Meeting has been arranged to pay homage to the departed soul.
