Overview
Department started in the year 1979 to provide basics of Chemistry to under graduate Engg. students. Department is recognised as Research centre & offers Ph.D. programme which is affiliated to Visweswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. All the faculty members are actively involved in academic & research activities and published number of research papers in reputed National & International Journals and presented papers in various National/International conferences, seminars. Department also undertakes Consultancy and Testing facilities to various industrial units. Department always has a credit of having best results at University exams.
Awards And Achivements
Dr. R.M. Kulkarni has worked as, 1.Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Leuven, Belgium from 2003 to 2005, 2.Visiting Fellow at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai from 2005 to 2006, 3.Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Alberta, Canada from 2006 to 2007.
