Overview

The department was started in the year 1986. Currently the department has a total intake of 120 students at UG level. The department is also running M.Tech full time and M.Tech Part Time (QIP) programs.Department is accrediated by NBA and permanently affiliated to VTU. The department has highly qualified,experienced and dedicated staff members, a well equipped library and state-of-the-art computing facilities.

  • Shri S.R.Mangalwede,Dr.D.H.Rao,titled " Context-Aware Intelligent Multi-Agent Technology in Knowledge Grid Environments for E-learning Systems", accepted for publication in Special Issue on Computations in Computer Engineering , International Journal of Computer Science and System Analysis.
  • Shri S.A.Kulkarni, titled " Mobility and Energy Based Performance Analysis of Temporally Ordered Routing Algorithm for Ad-Hoc Wireless Network", accepted for publication in Special Issue of IETE Journal on Next Generation Network:Converging Regime.
  • Shri S.S.Sannakki, Shri D.M.Choudhary and Shri H.H.Kenchannavar authored paper titled " Cryptanalysis Using Mobile Agents " will be published at International Conference VIT, Pune.
