MESSAGE FROM COORDINATOR



GIT aspires to achieve excellence in technical education. Any educational institution which focuses solely on training of undergraduate students degenerates into a static institution. We at GIT focus on research and education as the twin goals of the organization. Usually, faculties are able to evolve with both ideas and technological developments in their fields. Technology is an ever growing phenomenon. The benefits of ever improving technology should be made available to students. This will enable them to learn new technologies, acquire appropriate skills and deliver meaningful services to society when they join the professional world. GIT believes that Research benefits humanity.

Research at GIT is usually undertaken in collaboration with industry, academia and government. The research projects enjoy support from DST, NAL, CSIR, DRDO, MNES, AICTE,   VTU and more. Faculties at GIT are encouraged to publish papers and present their work at International/National Conferences.  The GIT faculties also regularly organize national and international conferences in the fields of their specialization. At GIT, students both at the UG & PG level are given an opportunity to participate in these activities. Research activity at GIT is part and parcel of all departments. In addition, dedicated Research Centers have also been established in order to promote research activities in each department.
