Vision
To train the students to become quality Architects with high standards of professionalism and ethics who have positive attitude and perfect blend of technical, managerial skills and aesthetic skills. To infuse the students with ethics, morals, inspirations and values that not only make them visionary architects but also good citizens of India. Further to prepare students for the Paradigm shifts that are happening in the world so that they are fully prepared technically and ethically to embrace the new Global scenario. Our vision is to raise the quality of Architectural education so that it prepares the students to deal with turbulent variations that are happening in the country and at the same time equip them to grapple with new International Design philosophies.

To establish the department as a Great school of Design at National Level.
Overview
Architecture course was started in 1998. The department offers Bachelors Degree in Architecture approved by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. Two batches have passed out. It has excellent Academic environment with committed faculty and excellent leadership. Senior Architects from the city share their practical knowledge with the students. Eminent practicing architects from India are invited to interact with the students. The department has always produced best results at the university examinations. Students of First two batches are either self employed or Working in leading Architects Offices in India and abroad. The department has been offering consultancy services. - Exhibitions and Seminars are organized as part of Academic activities.
Participations in Academic Competitions :-
South Zonal NASA : - Won the trophy for three consecutive years .
NASA : - Shortlisted for Two trophies among 110 participating colleges. - Participated in VTU athletic meet 2004, winning 6 medals and one student was awarded University Blue.
- Participated in VTU fest and won several competitions.
Extra curricular activities like quiz, elocution, group discussion etc are conducted regularly in the department. Students participate in such activities in other colleges.
Study tours to places of Architectural interest are conducted every semester. - Design of IMER Building, Belgaum.
Design of KLS Office Building, Belgaum.
Design of GIT Girls Hostel, Belgaum.
Design of GIT Sports Complex, Belgaum.
